City of Dakota City Paving Project in Progress

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dakota City, NE – The City of Dakota City’s 2017 Street Improvement Project is currently underway. To date, Steve Harris Construction has paved five one block sections located on Willow Street (23rd to 22nd), 19th Street (Mulberry to Elm Street), 16th Street (Willow to Mulberry), 15th Street (Mulberry to Elm), and 15th Street (Elm to Hickory).

This week, S. 21st Street (Mulberry to Broadway) and Hickory Street (21st to 20th) will be completed. Also, work will be completed on S. 21st Street (Mulberry to Elm) today, Hickory (21st to 20th) on Wednesday, June 7, and the remainder of 21st Street on Friday, June 9.

The remaining streets to be paved as part of this project are tentatively scheduled to be completed the following week (the week of June 11, 2017). This includes paving Walnut Street (20th to 21st) on Tuesday, June 13 and S. 20th Street (Hickory to Broadway) on Thursday, June 15.
